Benjamin Tod Seattle Concert reviews
They were great, but also seemed muscle fatigued.
I loved it overall since I watched all the ice skating competitions at the Winter Olympics and so I was naturally very excited to see Benjamin Tod dancing in person. However, as Meryl explained right at the start, apparently Seattle was their very last city in a multiple city tour, and I hate to say it, but it showed. I felt so sorry for some of them as they crashed and fell one after the other during their routines, especially during the first half. Of course, they got right back up and performed beautifully, but it felt rather jarring when it happened to a few of them. I got the feeling it was muscle fatigue from a strenuous tour, and unfortunately, we saw them at the very end of their tour. The second half was a lot better with less falling and more technically difficult flips and spins. One thing that disappointed me was that Charles and Meryl, the gold medal champions, danced so little. They only did one couple dance and then one dance each separately with others of their gender that were fun but didn't require all that much technique. Others in the group performed many more dances than they did. I had the feeling they were being protected in their aura of Gold to make sure they didn't risk falling and burst everyone's bubble. Anyway, I still very much enjoyed the show.
